How to Automatically Start Firefox in Private Browsing Mode

If you guys remember, in Firefox 3.5 they was introduced a new feature: The incognito. When enabled, Firefox will automatically delete history, cookies and so on. In short, no data is saved. Here is a trick that allows you to enable private browsing on every boot. If you are a Firefox user and you are using version 3.5 or higher you can easily switch from normal browsing mode to private browsing mode.

To automatically launch the browser in incognito mode, follow these steps:

1. Click on the Firefox Button at the top left and click Options.

2. Then head to the tab Privacy now Click the drop-down menu (By default, there is “Remember history”) and select Use custom settings for history.

3. Great. Now you can see the option Permanent Private browsing mode. Check that option. Save the settings and you are done.

Now every time you boot your system Firefox will start in private browsing mode, and will automatically delete the history, cache and so on.. Happy Surfing !!
