BlackBerry Torch 9810 Launched In India

RIM on Monday announced the launch of BlackBerry Torch 9810 with the BlackBerry 7 operating system in India. BlackBerry Torch 9810 smartphone can be purchased online through Lets Buy, where it is available for Rs 29,749. It features a large 3.2 inch high resolution touch display and slide-out Qwerty keyboard that allow faster typing.

BlackBerry Torch 9810 has 8 GB of memory which is expandable up to 32 GB with a micro SD card, 1.2GHz processor, 5 MP camera and 720p HD video recording. Torch 2 equipped with Slider QWERTY keypad for ease of use while typing a message. The BlackBerry Torch 2 is powered by a 1.2 GHz processor and runs BlackBerry Operating System v6.1. The device supports 512 MB of RAM and 8 GB of internal memory. The design of the BlackBerry Torch 2 is the same as the original BlackBerry handset but as an exception it has a matt silver finish.

Other features include a 3.5mm stereo headset jack, 768 MB RAM, Bluetooth 2.1, Built-in GPS functionality, BlackBerry Maps, Built-in speakerphone, up to 54 hours music playback time, up to 7 hours video playback time, up to 6.5 hours of talk time, up to 12.8 days of standby time , Bluetooth 2.1, Wi-Fi, NFC, accelerometer, magnetometer and OpenGL ES. The device also features a 1300mAh battery.

3G download speed in this phone is 14.4 Mbps HSDPA, 5.76  Mbps HSUPA Maximum which gives blazing fast web access and the browser supports HTML5 video and provides a seamless loading, scrolling and zooming experience that’s super fast.
