Download Firefox 4 Beta 1 Officially

Mozilla has finally released the beta version of the Firefox 4, the next version of the popular open-source browser. This beta version containing many improvements like 64bit support, repositioned tabs, 3.6.4’s tab sand boxing to reduce crashes, enhanced HTML5 support, better Aero Peak integration for Windows 7 users an improved bookmarks manager , new Add-Ons Manager, HD Video feature, crash protection and best performance.

Features

  • HD Video: Watch hardware-accelerated, super-smooth, HD-quality HTML5 video on YouTube using the new WebM format.
  • Crash Protection: Experience uninterrupted browsing (now available on all platforms) – when a plugin crashes or freezes, you can resume browsing by simply refreshing the page.
  • Performance: Improved responsiveness at start-up and during page loads. This is just the beginning for performance improvements in Firefox 4.

And more features including HTML5 Parser, WebSocets, IndexedDB, Web console and so on.

This is pre-release software: you may encounter compatibility problems with some websites and add-ons.
