Research In Motion (RIM) and U.S. wireless carrier AT&T on Tuesday officially announced the new 3G BlackBerry Torch 9800 smartphone. It comes with the new BlackBerry 6 operating system. The BlackBerry Torch 9800 seen as a competitor to Apple’s iPhone 4, the new BlackBerry Torch tries to charm with a touchscreen and slide-out keyboard , the new BlackBerry 6 OS which comes packed with a new browser, and a 5 megapixel camera with a flash.

As per official Blackberry Blog ::

With the new BlackBerry Torch smartphone, we also believe our hardware team has delivered the best combined touch-qwerty experience available, seamlessly incorporating our signature BlackBerry keyboard and precision trackpad in a striking design that simply feels great in your hand. One of the things I love the most about the BlackBerry Torch design is the way it allows me to easily transition between using the touch screen, trackpad and keyboard interfaces. I can switch between them and interact with the handset and applications in a very natural way.

You might be really excited to know about this smart phone and its time for you to visit the official website of RIM to know more about the Torch 9800.
