How to Upload & Play Videos in Google Docs

Since last year, Google Docs can be used to store and share any type of file. Now its possible to watch videos directly on documents. Google Docs has introduced support for video playback recently. Uploading a video to Google Docs is simple, and once it’s in the cloud you can watch it from anywhere.

Most video formats can be played (MPEG4, MOV, FLV, AVI, WebM). It is also possible to share videos with your contacts. They can watch and download videos shared by you. Unfortunately, documents does not allow code to embed a video on a blog or website. You can upload files up to 1024 MB and files converted to Google Docs have smaller limits.

How to Upload Video 

Log in to your Google Docs acc, now click on the Upload button and select your files by clicking the Select Files button or you can drag and drop video files too. After you have finished adding the video files you wish to upload, select the Start Upload button.

How to play a video ?

Just click a video file you’ve uploaded to your Documents List, and the video opens in a new page that includes a video player. You will need to have Flash installed for the video player to work.
